Kalamandir Saksham SHG Federation is the umbrella organization of 130 tribal and indigenous artisans from remote villages. There is no child labor. Everyone gets equal wages. No discrimination of gender, caste, color. Biponi not only offers them shelter but also a sustainable livelihood through the marketing of their products. Besides their regular wages Federation pays them an annual dividend, the welfare of their children, pension to old artisans; it adds to their self-esteem. Ii is managed by fellow artisans only. All income goes either to the individual artisan who makes it or the corpus of the society which maintains a transparent account. We accept philanthropic donations and charity for pension, children’s education, new technology”.
